What exactly is CYNAREX®?

CYNAREX® herbal dietary supplements contain a blend of natural plant extracts, known to stimulate bile excretion and protect the liver, as well as lower the blood serum level.

How does it work?

Polyphenolacids present in the dry extract from artichoke plant, anthra-derivatives present in the dry extract from the rhubarb-family plant, and Chelidonium hydrochloride obtained from the alkaloids isolated from celandine plant are thought to have a synergistic effect on liver. These herbal extracts prompt bile excretion, protect liver cells, and have a spasmolytic effect. Research has shown that the levels of some fatty compounds present in the blood serum were effectively decreased. In particular, the decreased serum levels of triglycerides, free fatty acids, cholesterol, and beta-lipoproteides were observed.

- prevents arteriosclerosis
- recommended as detoxification agent in carbon sulfide poisoning

- improves chronic alcoholism-induced hypertriglyceridemia
- is very well tollerated in animal and human studies
